Piano Lessons

Along with Voice, I have been teaching piano for 10+ years! I have successfully completed my RCM grade 8 piano certificate with honours, have dove into jazz piano, and have the pleasure of working in popular music friendly music schools.
I am happy to offer lessons curated to music like rock and pop, classical, jazz, and also offer RCM exam preparations up to grade 5.
How?
Step-By-Step Concept Learning
Whether new or experienced, I design custom lesson plans to start you off or pick up from where you left off based on your desired goals! Topic by topic we will learn music concepts in a step-by-step manner and use a threading technique to learn them in as many ways as we can (Eg. Ear, sight, written, improvised/freestyle, tactile, and more.) My music space is equipped with games and activities that incorporate theory concepts into fun-to-practice activities. The goal is to make sure you can learn the best way you know how and to discover your strengths along the way.
Mission Statement
My goal is for my students to become well-rounded musicians in whatever avenue they are interested in and to build the confidence to take this knowledge outside the classroom and into the real world. You will be able to read sheet music, understand and implement music theory knowledge, accompany yourself and others, improvise and create songs of your own, and learn how to pick up songs faster in multiple different ways.
